Inigo Evans is the band leader of Dark Fiesta, an alt-rock band based on the Sunshine Coast. His role covers songwriting, vocals, guitar and production from tracking to mixing  and mastering. He played guitar and bass in rock bands in the UK in the 1980s and ’90s.

Inigo Evans studied sound engineering, having a minor career in the 1990s running the sound for small bands in parallel to moving a lot of road cases for the Princes and U2s of the world. He now runs a thriving live audio business under the name of Evans Sound Co, providing full live production and dry hire services for Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.

Inigo  started teaching bass around 1993 at a recording/rehearal studio. After moving to Sydney, Australia in 1999, he founded and ran a successful Apple computer dealership for 15 years. In 2014, Inigo moved with his family to the Sunshine Coast and set up a private teaching studio, “Play Nice Guitar”. He now teaches guitar at Matthew Flinders Anglican College in Buderim after completing a Bachelor of Music  (production, performance and teaching degree) from CQ University.
